Steve Lamb has been the Medical Director for CareNet NCW since 2018. He is a board certified Family Physician, graduating from Waterville HS, Seattle Pacific University and University of Washington School of Medicine. After 12 years of medical practice in North Central Washington, Dr Lamb joined the United States Air Force, retiring in 2016. Since then he has worked in Emergency Medicine and as a Hospitalist at North Valley Hospital in Tonasket, and has volunteered with Mercy Ships, serving on the Africa Mercy intermittently for the past 2 years. Dr Lamb and his wife, Cindy, live in Oroville. They have 6 grown children and 12 beautiful grandchildren.

Marcia Kucera is a family nurse practitioner who attended Seattle Pacific University for both her bachelor’s and master’s in nursing. She has practiced in hospital settings and in private practice specializing in integrative medicine. In her career as well as her private life, she has found it particularly rewarding to mentor and encourage young women of childbearing age. Her life experiences raising 3 wonderful children and the joy of having eight grandchildren has contributed greatly to her ability to love and encourage young women. She is excited about her new position at Care Net as the Nurse Manager and looks forward to the opportunity to give hope and encouragement to clients as they seek help and direction. Marcia and her husband, Vincent, moved to the rural community of Republic, WA in 2021. They had spent all their adult years in the beautiful Skagit Valley but longed for a lifestyle that included raising livestock and gardening and being a part of a smaller community. They now have a small farm with sheep, goats, chickens, dogs and a cat. Marcia also enjoys spinning wool from her sheep, weaving and organic gardening
